Within an easy 5-10min walk of Scotstoun Conservation Area is Scotstounhill Train Station. It is situated just off Anniesland Road on the way to Knightswood Shopping Centre. 
The station is on the original Argyle and North Clyde lines linking Helenburgh and Balloch in the West through to Motherwell and Lanarkshire. There are regular services to Partick (connections to Underground and other train lines) and on into the city centre running approximately every 15 minutes during peak times. The journey time into the city centre is only 12-17 minutes.

Scotstoun is situated between Dumbarton Road and Anniesland Road and is therefore well served by regular bus services including express services in and out of the city at peak times.
